He campaigned on a platform of compassionate conservatism and uniting the country. Americans who did vote for Bush can hardly be blamed for not realising what they were voting for. As far as I'm concerned, all that changed yesterday.... The American people looked at the record of Bush and decided it was worthy of re-election. |
