M.K.: Did you sometimes improvise and make things up as you went along thinking “Oh I would have worn it crinoline that way?” I.A.: It was a combination because sometimes, I have an accessory that I didn’t have fifty years ago and crinoline there could be an improvement…and some of the shoes have worn out and some of the beads have fallen apart…. I don’t go out when I need something, I haven’t got much time to shop so every once in a while when I get the call, I go dashing and then anything that I see and like, whether I need it or not, I buy.
