Re. Ramadan/fasting; The Muslim students I teach English to, actually put weight on during Ramadan. (I lie not.) They set their alarms to get up before sunrise, orlando sentinel online in order to embark on the biggest breakfast ever. They break their 'fast' about 4:40pm. The week before last, one of my Yemeni students invited me round for a meal after sunset. Heres what was on the table (well, floor actually); Copious amounts orlando sentinel online of rice. Hobz (flat bread) Lamb and vegetables in a tomato based sauce. Fried Chicken. Samosas. Potatoes. Chilli salsa. Yoghurt with mint. Lime orlando sentinel online pickle. It was absolutely delicious, but back to the point of my comment, and to re-iterate what other posters here are saying, hardly fasting.
