road rules abusive should be more to do with following the rules on someone else’s property (trespassing) rather than a breach of a specific law. Busting people for jaywalking does little for society and the reputation abusive of the police. There will always be a need for some kind of security and investigative and perhaps rehabilitory forces, and also a courts system. The fact is people are disempowered and the police are expected to do the impossible, whilst at the same time having to much power to enforce petty laws. Like Chief Wiggum says: “Powerless to protect, not to punish you” I know some cops who are genuinely good blokes and even one who has been railroaded by the PIC. Some who I have met I genuinely question their motivation to join a protective service. yobbo Says: December 29th, 2005 at 12:18 pm Razbry, there was no humour in your previous post at all. Nobody here is stupid enough to believe that you were actually joking at any point in that post. Trying to stick it back on me saying I didn’t get it is nothing more than a pathetic excuse to retreat from your comments.
