I don't know the procedures or anything for emancipation, but you should call a local law office and ask them where to get started. They'll probably tell you to find a lawyer. I know you have to show reason for emancipation such as being mature enough to care for yourself and having an unfit homelife. You should probably be holding down a job if you decide to go for it, because that's proof that you can support yourself. Living with your gf would rock I'm sure :).

Anywho, my dad used to hit me but about two years ago when list of films he started punching me and pushing me list of films to the ground I started fighting back. I gave him a really bad concusion. A few months later he tried list of films again and I almost killed him. After that he pretty much stopped trying to hit me, he doesn't even really yell at me anymore. My mom hits me cause she thinks I wont hit back, although next time she does Im not going to hold back. Do any of you know the laws for emancipation and whatnot? I have enough credits to graduate from high school right now (if I wanted to I could take jounalism and creative writing next semester and that would be my required english for NYS and I could get an advanced regents diploma).
