To me, it smacks of objectifying those around you, and especially those who might be useful to you - movie times the purest basis of evil. By your "promoting," you would blur the ugly circumstances of this war, unique to it and our time. You trivialize these movie times losses, by mingling them with past losses and conflicts, leaving those who watch with the impression that this is just another exchange of sensationalistic bits of allegory. You reduce all others who think, and feel, to spectators or extras in a pageant you direct. I movie times do not intend to support Democrats in order to get a new bunch of lying, cynical, moral tumors in exchange. I realize that I probably will, such are unavoidable anywhere you have a concentration of money and power. But in your study of Atwater and Rove, you've become a bit too much like them.
