Whether or not I like coffee has nothing to do with this. What I'm trying to point out is that the possible/probable war in Iraq has apparently very little to do with freedom, and martin scorsese instead falls more into the category of war for war's sake. As I've said before, I can appreciate martin scorsese that it's frustrating to be a government that has to continually deal with such an asshole, who shows no restraint in his actions, but I don't see how it's a good idea for us to push brute-force-forward against so much international resistance. Sometimes, war martin scorsese is necessary for peace and freedom. I, along with many others both here and abroad, don't see that in this case." -trav [2003-03-12 23:38:12] "To offer a third angle, I see this war is necessary not for freedom or security in this country, but for freedom of the Iraqi people and security of all the next-door-neighbors of this madman.
