And I queen don't mean the fall leaves that have just landed after turning some sort of brilliant color, and sit resting round a thousand other brilliantly-colored, newly-fallen leaves. I'm talkin' about a leaf that fell last autumn, and has been hanging out all winter, dried and wrinkled, sitting all by itself on the sidewalk. I like them because they just sit there for hours on end, hanging out on the sidewalk; they always seem to decide to catch the wind only when you're about to walk past them. |
