Personally I don’t blame eaton centre soldiers for the shit they get put in. Are they responsible? Yes. Do they bear all, or even most, of that responsibility? Hell, fucking, no. Does this remove a soldier’s culpability in situtations like the above? Hell no. He’s not in a war situation (not that this excuses rape as a weapon of war either, but one needs to look at things contextually). |
