If you recorded Monday’s two-hour episode of “24” and haven’t seen it yet, stop reading movie NOW. This was a movie pivotal episode that revealed just how far Jack Bauer is willing to go movie to thwart the terrorists … and just how far the show’s producers will go to shake up the audience. Jack shot an innocent woman, played by JoBeth Williams, in the leg in a brutal attempt to get her husband to reveal information about the deadly nerve gas that’s on the loose. That was pretty darn shocking. Jack has been known to torture and kill people before, but not women who just happened to be married to bad guys. Plus, Jack apparently had been a friend of this woman before he decided to shoot her. |
