| I think part of this is due to the complexity of the template syntax. For some reason, whether they're simpler or not, GM east central europe templates appear to be more inviting. Therefore, whatever we do with standardizing archives, posts, and CMS interoperability needs to be inviting enough so people will use it (otherwise it's worthless), and flexible enough so CMS vendors will purely east central europe implement it (otherwise east central europe it's just as worthless--look at what almost happened to JavaScript).
