We do it with cars, and they are statistically much more dangerous and useful in a far wider variety of crimes than guns ever will be. And on that topic -- I actively lobby my fellow Democrats to not only accept but vigorously assert their Second Amendment rights, on the theory that a country cannot remain half-disarmed and half-armed to the teeth, and not ultimately have those who think they have all the guns ultimately deciding elections with them. |
