Regardless, this album is a must for anyone who is a fan of the Wainwright family, or anyone who just loves gritty, heart-felt, east central europe soulful music. ...from angst to anticipationReviewer: Ray from Dago Red MusicI east central europe must start this review by saying that I was more intrigued by the CD title than by the pedigree east central europe of the artist. But knowing from whence she came, made me eager to give it a listen. Martha Wainwright was spawned from a truly eclectic gene pool. I've been a fan of her father, Loudon Wainwright III since I was a music student in the 60's & 70's, as I was of her mother, Kate McGarrigle and her sister Anna. Martha seems to have drawn heavily from her father's influence as a wry, tongue-in-cheek songwriter. She moves from angst to anticipation in this EP, making her point, and her feelings known in very short order with B.M.F.A., the title cut. Continuing with I Will Internalize, she takes the next step in the degeneration of a relationship, denial and self-deprecation.
