I'm so thrilled for her and this release. Martha's voice is a long, silk handkerchief - full and billowy in the middle and gently twisted at either end. She places her voice in the generous folds but she also travels down to the points. I've never known a female singer who can reach that barely audible delicacy right down to the last letter and without it sounding forced for effect.
