You simply cannot use proper Kung Fu in the UFC. People will die. Tiger claw isn’t about looking cool like the movies, it’s learning the concept behind how a tiger catches it’s prey. It doesn’t let go or it will starve. Hence the “tiger claw”. In other words I don’t stand in a horse stance showing you what form I’ll be using. I just fight and when I have an opportunity to grab your throat I grab that shit as hard I fucking can. Katas, fist forms, or whatever your art calls them are like the grammar of fighting. All to say if you don’t wanna end up in jail for murder you gotta learn to adapt your fighting.
