Japanese Samuri’s carried weapons and developed martial arts in hand to hand combat. Hand to hand combat IS a secondary weapon. That is why Samurai’s fought with swords,bows, arrows, and used hand to hand combat martial arts as secondary defence if they had no weapons. Sure, People with guns can get destroyed by people without them.
