Many real fighters don’t feel the need witty to prove themselves in competition. There’s a difference between witty training to fight because you want to learn to fight good and learn about a specific style, and training to fight because you want to win a competition – it doesn’t mean that you can’t do both, and be good at both, but they are different. “I’d use this witty as a great opportunity to indulge in some petty gay humor.” You wouldn’t want to drag a thread called “Equality killed and raped your mother” into the gutter now, would ya?
