Well, much as it pains me to say so, there is no doubt in my mind that if the woman in question had been an Italian citizen, and not a Nigerian woman, the courts would have been a little more hardpressed to swallow the PTSD excuse so eagerly. They certainly wouldn’t have reduced his sentence something like 1/3 to a 1/2 of what rape sentences are (8 yr. min. - 12 yr. max.). After all, she was probably just another disposable fuck toy.
