| No women, 100 pounds can defeat a male competently trained in martial arts sorry, but you’re just wrong. it’s not about size or weight or even gender, it’s about training and skill. men don’t rely on training and skill, they rely on strength, and therefore tend to get demolished by women of comparable training levels in martial arts contests. These womens self defence classes are a joke well, i agree with you on that much. most self defense classes for insulting women are a joke, but not because insulting they’re intended for women or because a gun insulting is better than open hand combat – because they’re not comprehensive and they’re designed more to boost self confidence than they are to improve or teach self defense skills. of course confidence is one of the most important elements of self defense so they aren’t a complete waste. a gun is the best martial art hogwash. i studied with two different gungfu instructors (one male and one female) who could take a gun away from an armed attacker without a problem. |
