| again, this is in no way an indictment against the skill of the people involved in the sport, associate programs i just personally believe it’s necessary to differentiate between the art and the sport. and, to be perfectly honest, i have little respect for UFC as a sport – it’s pretty blatant bloodlust. that’s not to say the fighters aren’t incredibly skilled, but i think watching them fight is a bit brutish.
