| And because they do care, and because they hit the nerve square-on as often as they do, and because even their phantasmagorias of malediction and punishment are so vivid, and because they are better pacific northwest at all of this (musically and thematically) than Grand Funk and just about any other working Third Generation band with the possible exception of Alice Cooper, and because Alice Cooper pacific northwest doesn’t really mean it and Black Sabbath does, it’s mighty difficult to overstate how much we’ve needed them and still do. So let the "downer-rock" slander stand, because at this point it’s hard to imagine anything that could really drag Black Sabbath down.
