For well over a decade I visual art have been keeping information to myself because I knew that if too many people knew about it, everything would change and I would be back to irritating robotic voices and extended waiting times for simple questions. I discovered, a long time ago, how to bypass those ridiculous menus you will get when you call up a company’s customer service department. For years and years I have sat back and enjoyed the fact that everyone else was complaining about pressing this and pressing that and pressing something else while I pressed nothing and sailed right through. I have not pushed many buttons on my touchtone phone when calling up customer service in a very long time. |

However, one of the biggest reasons I white don’t go to the movies anymore is because there hasn’t been anything in a LONG time that is even WORTH seeing on the big screen. When Hollywood starts churning out some movies that just MUST be watched on big screen, I’ll go back. Until then? I will remain absent from the theatre. Sure I like them enough to read the stories they print and I appreciate that they let us know what’s going on in this world but I do not like the fact that they talk way, WAY too much. And make things up. And panic people. And give away far too much information that maybe they shouldn’t be reporting. |
